Kadijah Jones embodies what it means to be a true Bobcat — a former standout player turned dedicated coach who continues to shape the program’s success from the sidelines. A passionate leader and mentor, Jones’ impact extends beyond the stat sheet, representing the heart, work ethic, and commitment that define the Bobcat tradition.

As a player, Jones was a force on the court, averaging 15.5 points per game and shooting 40% from the field during the 2023–24 season. Known for her relentless effort and presence on the glass, she ranked among the team leaders with 11.6 rebounds per game, showcasing her ability to control the paint on both ends. Her toughness, leadership, and competitive spirit made her one of the team’s most reliable contributors and a respected voice in the locker room.

After an impressive playing career, Jones transitioned seamlessly into coaching, serving as one of the program’s primary assistant coaches last season. Her familiarity with the program, understanding of the team culture, and connection with the players have made her an invaluable asset to the coaching staff.
